Last chance to grab LocalGovCamp tickets

Don't miss out on your chance to be a part of the LocalGovCamp unconference - make sure you grab a free ticket in our last release.

The LocalGovCamp unconference will be held at the Bond Company in Birmingham on Saturday 21 June and is free to attend.

You can grab a ticket in our last release which will happen online at noon on Friday 30 May 2014. If you aren't able to secure your place we'll open a waiting list for any spots that open up closer to the event.

Running from 9.30am to 4.30pm the unconference, which for the first time incorporates CouncillorCamp, will see around 130 delegates from in and around local government come together to create an on-the-day agenda of a possible 28 sessions.

Sarah Lay, Communications and Community Management Lead for LocalGov Digital and organiser of the event for the network said: "It's a real pleasure for LocalGov Digital to take on the organisation of LocalGovCamp and revive the event in the unconference calendar.

"It has been a significant event for many of us on the LocalGov Digital steering group and we're looking forward to learning and sharing from digital practitioners from in and around local government as well as councillors, who we're pleased to welcome under the CouncillorCamp banner."

LocalGovCamp Fringe events

Two LocalGovCamp Fringe events will be held on Friday 20 June, also at Bond Company in Birmingham. These events are free but are ticketed separately from the Saturday unconference.

Running separately throughout the day delegates from both events will be brought together to share the summing up giving senior leaders a chance to hear about the prototypes created during the hack day.

Makers' hack day (partnered by Nesta)

LocalGov Digital Makers will host this hack event, partnered by Nesta, to prototype practical solutions to real problems in local governement.

Suitable for coders and designers we also welcome content designers, user experience specialists and service managers at this event in order to define and test the solutions.

Tickets are free and available on EventBrite.

Leaders' summit (partnered by FutureGov and CapacityGrid)

This invite only event is aimed at senior officers and politicians who will hear quickfire TEDx-style presentations from experienced digital leaders in the sector and across industry.

There'll also be a chance to get experience of service design and thinking about more radical and creative ways to deliver local government services.
