LocalGovCamp 2016

LocalGovCamp, the largest and longest running unconference for UK local government, returns to Birmingham on 3rd and 4th June this year. Running since 2009 and organised by LocalGov Digital, LocalGovCamp 2016 promises to be the biggest yet.

If you work in or around local government and care about creating better public services then this is event is for you. As always, tickets are free, though are always in very high demand and are issued on a first come, first served basis so will be snapped up quickly. There will be four ticket releases between 13th April and 6th May, full details of the ticket release can be found here.

Friday is the event’s ‘fringe day’ and features a Makers Day for designers and developers with an interest in improving local public services. The focus will be on actually creating and building something before releasing it, all in a single day. On top of this will be FutureGov’s Leaders Summit looking at key topics at the heart of improving the sector.

Saturday is the main unconference, where the agenda is set on the day by those who attend. Whatever your background or interests, you could be running a session on something you’re passionate about and getting advice and support from some of the brightest minds in and around local government.
