As part of the LocalGovCamp fringe we’ll be running a hack day on Friday 20 June and we want to hear your views about what the day should involve.
Following the launch of our LocalGov Digital Makers network earlier this month we’ve now announced we’ll be running the hack day in central Birmingham this June, and are pleased to say that we’re partnered by Nesta for this event.
A hack day is an event in which programmers and others involved in digital development, including graphic designers, interface designers and project managers, collaborate intensively on projects.
To help shape what’s created on the day, Makers have launched a short survey. You don’t have to be a developer or designer to complete it. In fact if you’re a service manager, front line member of staff or someone who uses a council service Makers, would like to hear from you.
It runs until 30 March and you can see the survey here.
